Cooling
Air conditioning, diagnosed first and priced before the work starts
Warm air, ice on the lines, a unit that short-cycles: ACE answers AC calls out of Cypress Church Rd the same day, and the emergency line never closes.
Chapter 01
Warm air from the vents, and five other ways a system lets you know
A Cypress AC call almost always begins with one of six signs: warm air from the vents, a system that runs without cooling, ice on the lines, water around the air handler, a breaker that keeps tripping, or a unit that short-cycles. Each one points at a different part of the system, which is why guessing at a part is the wrong first move.
ACE takes these calls same day and on the 24/7 emergency line at (281) 256-3433. The price is quoted before any work begins, and that holds for after-hours calls too.

Refrigerant, electrical, airflow: the order of a real diagnosis
The diagnosis runs through refrigerant, electrical and airflow checks. Dee Guerrero described a visit from service technician Nick Rodriguez this way in her Google review: "Nick did a detailed check inside and then went to the unit outside to make sure he could find exactly what our issue was." After that he explained the fault and laid out options.
When the findings say a unit is nearer the end of its life than the start, ACE gives honest repair-versus-replace guidance, so the options you hear are the ones the diagnosis supports.
Replacement begins with a load calculation, then a system sized for your house rather than a copy of whatever was there before. ACE is a Trane Comfort Specialist, and the install includes the ductwork, electrical and permitting, built on the company's own sheet metal equipment when the runs need rework. Licence TACLB 135382E.
Chapter 03
What a tune-up reads, and what you keep afterward
The ACE Precision Tune-up is the maintenance visit: coil condition, refrigerant charge, electrical connections, capacitor and contactor wear, condensate drain, thermostat calibration and airflow. Each is a place where a small reading shows up before a breakdown call does, which is the job of booking it ahead of the cooling season.
BigC3103 wrote that they appreciate "the excellent post-service report that is provided" after a visit from Nick and Josh, so the findings come written down, not just spoken. Comfort Club members get the tune-up on a plan from $12.95 a month, with priority service on all calls.

Rebates are the programmes' own terms
ACE points customers to third-party programmes when a replacement may qualify. CenterPoint Home Efficiency Rebates list the replacement of systems over 15 years old, and the federal energy-efficiency tax credit is listed at 30% of cost up to $600 for efficient air conditioners. Eligibility and amounts are set by those programmes, not by ACE, so confirm with them.
Financing through Service Finance and FTL Finance is available on new systems, and a replacement that needs new runs can lean on the in-house fabrication described on the ductwork page. A heat pump follows a different schedule, covered on the heat pump page, and a cold-weather fault belongs on the heating page. The Comfort Club covers the yearly visit.
