In-house sheet metal

The room that never gets comfortable is a duct problem first

ACE builds duct runs on its own sheet metal equipment, cleans existing ductwork with Rotobrush and blows in insulation to a target R-value.

Chapter 01

Is one room that never gets comfortable an equipment problem?

Usually it is not. A room that is never comfortable is a distribution problem more often than an equipment problem, and distribution comes down to the ductwork. A bigger air conditioner pushed through the same runs only moves the discomfort around.

That is why American Comfort Experts fabricates duct on its own sheet metal equipment, in-house, rather than assembling a run from off-the-shelf parts. A run built for your home's actual layout is usually what fixes the room, and it does it without touching the equipment at all.

How does a custom duct run get built?

ACE works in seven steps: Comprehensive Assessment, Custom Design, Material Selection, Precision Fabrication, Professional Installation, System Testing and Final Inspection. The fabrication step happens on ACE's own equipment, and it produces both rectangular ducts and round spiral ducts.

Testing and inspection come after the metal is in, so the last two steps check the finished system rather than the drawing. ACE is a licensed Texas HVAC contractor, TACLB 135382E.

Chapter 03

What about the ducts you already have, and the attic above them?

Duct cleaning at ACE uses Rotobrush equipment and runs in six steps: Inspection, Agitation, Vacuum Extraction, an optional Sanitization with EPA-registered agents, Final Inspection and Documentation. The documentation is before and after images of your ductwork, so the work is something you can look at.

Blown-in insulation is fiberglass among other materials, installed to a target R-value, and it belongs in the same conversation as the ducts, because the attic is where most duct runs live. Both processes are ACE's own, in the order they run. Scroll each reel sideways. For the equipment that feeds these ducts, see air conditioning and package units.

  • Comprehensive Assessment

The house, the system already in it and the room that complains.

  • Custom Design

A run drawn for this layout, not a stock one.

  • Material Selection

Chosen for the run in question.

  • Precision Fabrication

Cut and formed on ACE's own sheet metal equipment.

  • Professional Installation

Rectangular or round spiral, set in place.

  • System Testing

The system run to see the work do its job.

  • Final Inspection

A last look before the job is called done.

A look inside the ductwork before anything is touched.

  • Agitation

Rotobrush equipment working the duct surfaces.

  • Vacuum Extraction

What the brushes loosen is pulled out.
