Which room in your house never keeps up?
Ductless work starts with a room, not a machine. ACE puts the usual suspects in one line: “A converted garage, a sunroom, an upstairs bonus room, a primary suite at the end of a long duct run, a workshop or an addition that was never tied into the original system.” Each of them sits at the far end of the ductwork or was never on it at all.
A mini-split gives that room its own indoor head on the wall and its own outdoor unit, so the comfort of the space stops depending on a duct run that was never built for it. ACE designs single-zone systems for one room and multi-zone systems when several rooms each need their own.
